The website provides you with vital information on who we are and our programmes. The Transport and Logistics Industry is very dynamic and requires the training and retraining of industry players and operators to keep them abreast with developments in the industry, in order to develop their competencies and improve their skills and knowledge. NITT provides training in all modes of transport leading to the award of certificates, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma and Masters in Transport and Logistics. We have been in the fore front of providing Transport and Logistics Education, Training, Research and Consultancy Services. In its over Thirty (30) years of existence, the Institute has contributed significantly to the professionalization of the transport and logistics industry not only in Nigerian but also in the West African Sub region. We combine human ingenuity and technological innovations to develop the capacity of the workforce to make the transport and logistics industry more effective and efficient to stimulate economic growth and development.
Professional Training & Research In All Modes Of Transport
The Institute is mandated by its Enabling Act to specifically provide training in all modes of transport. It also serves as a Transport Intelligence Centre for monitoring transport and logistics systems and provides equipment and facilities for the encouragement, promotion, and conduct of applied research in all modes of transport
