The National Gas Expansion Project Committee (NGEPC) has toured the facilities of the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, as a precursor to a collaboration on the use of auto-gas as an alternative source of fuel. This tour issued from NITT’s desire to reduce carbon emissions through a collaborative effort as well as a futuristic plan for post-subsidy era.
Participants of Master’s in Transport and Logistics (MTL) programme of the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, have arrived in Kano for the 2021/2022 Field Study visit. The MTL programme is one of the long-term programmes run by the Institute.

In the said publication which has gone viral, it was alleged that a Malaysian university, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) has earned 11 international research grants worth RM 600, 000 (61.3 Million Naira) from the Nigerian government through our institution, the Nigerian Institute of Tansport Technology.
