The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Zaria Branch, this evening, bestowed an Award of Excellent Leadership on NITT’s iconic and visionary DG/CE, Dr. Bayero Salih Farah, FCILT. The association described the DG/CE as a seasoned administrator, whose exceptional leadership qualities and high level of achievements, made him worthy of the award.
The nomination statement further reads: “Your excellent performance as the DG/CE can be seen in the infrastructural transformation of the entire premises, improved facilities, a world-class Admin building, Bursary complex and a world-class hotel, among others”
Receiving the award on behalf of the DG/CE, the Director, Transport Research and Intelligence Department, Dr. Baba Ibrahim Mundi, expressed deep gratitude to ANAN for the award, while dedicating it to all staff of the Institute.
The DG/CE further noted that: ” This award is a reminder of the immense responsibility we all bear as leaders in our respective fields. I therefore urge each of us to continue to strive for excellence, to innovate, and to serve our community with unwavering dedication and sacrifices”.
The highlight of the Dinner and Award Night was the presentation of awards to several recipients. The colourful event, which brought together accountants, academicians and business professionals from different backgrounds, took place in the prestigious NITT Suite and Conference Centre, Zaria.
