Free CNG Conversion for Commercial Vehicles under P-CNGi ‘First Come First Serve’ Initiative

CNG first to come first to serve

The Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT) is excited to inform the general public, particularly commercial vehicle operators, about a new opportunity through the Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas (P-CNGi). As part of the Federal Government’s commitment to reducing transportation costs, PCNGI has launched the ‘First Come First Serve’ project, which offers free CNG conversions for commercial vehicles across the country.

In partnership with PCNGI, NITT will provide the platform for vehicle screening and conversions at two of its centres Zaria and Abuja. This initiative aims to promote the use of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as an alternative to conventional fuels, offering significant savings to commercial vehicle operators.

The program will kick off with the screening and selection of vehicles on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at both the NITT Zaria and Abuja centres. Selected vehicles will be booked for free conversion at a later date.

As a result, we anticipate an influx of commercial vehicles at the NITT Zaria Main Gate and the Abuja Liaison Office. We encourage all interested commercial vehicle operators to take advantage of this opportunity.
