The Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, on Friday, 15th August 2025, formally matriculated its 2024/2025 academic session students for the Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma (ND), National Innovation Diploma (NID), and National Vocational Certificate (NVC) programmes.
The ceremony, held at the Institute’s Main Auditorium, marked the official induction of the students into the academic community of NITT.
In his address, the Director General/Chief Executive of NITT, Dr. Bayero Salih Farah, expressed appreciation to the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), and other stakeholders for their strategic partnership and support.
Dr. Farah reaffirmed the Institute’s commitment to providing world-class education and hands-on training, urging the new students to take their studies seriously and maximise the opportunities offered by the Institute’s conducive learning environment and dedicated faculty.
The high point of the event was the administering of the matriculation oath, symbolising the students’ formal acceptance into the Institute.
