The Institute today played host to officer cadets from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna.
The two separate groups which were led by Engr. Haruna Abdulaziz and Dr. Nwachukwu Clement, visited the Institute as a part of the Cadets Industrial Work Experience Scheme (CIWES), a skill training programme designed to expose and prepare cadets for industrial work situations they may encounter in the field.
The Registrar, Dr. Maina W.A. Tarfa, received the team in his office on behalf of the DG/CE, Dr. Bayero Salih Farah, following which the Press and Public Relations Unit staff took them through a power-point presentation, as well as guided them on a tour of the Institute’s facilities.
