The newly appointed Divisional Officer, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Sabon-gari Division, Superintendent of Corps, Ishaq Soho, has paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, pledging to assist the Institute surmount its security challenges.
Welcoming the Divisional Officer, the DG/CE, NITT, Dr. Bayero Salih Farah, observed that NITT has a lot of investments in Zaria, and other outreach centres across the country, which needed to be secured.
Dr. Farah appealed to the Divisional Officer to not only assist the Institute’s internal security apparatus with proper registration, but also “assist us to protect the critical national assets under our purview.”
The NITT boss stressed that the Institute would give NSCDC the necessary support to enable it succeed.
Speaking earlier, the Sabon-gari Divisional Officer, Superintendent of Corps, Ishaq Soho, stated that the protection of critical national assets is part of the Corps’ mandate, and as such he would do everything within his power to assist NITT’s internal security with proper registration and deployment, as well as improve security within his jurisdiction.
