The DG/CE, NITT, Dr Bayero Salih Farah, was today formally presented with the Prestigious CILT Distinguished Leader in Transport and Logistics Award in recognition of his significant contributions to the development of logistics and transport education in Nigeria.
Recall that the award was earlier received on his behalf at the recently concluded National Conference and AGM of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Nigeria, which took place in Abuja.
While receiving the award, which was presented to him in his office by CILT, Zaria Branch Chairman, Dr. Joshua Odeleye, Dr. Farah expressed deep gratitude to the CILT Council, noting that he holds the award in high esteem. Speaking further, he promised to do more for the growth of CILT in particular and transport and logistics education in Nigeria and the West African Sub-region in general.
