A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed by NITT and Transport Research Laboratory, United Kingdom. The agreement was sealed at an online meeting on Wednesday, 29th May, 2024. Areas of collaboration include: the supply of road transport consultancy, research, and technology solutions, among others. The DG/CE, NITT, Dr. Bayero Salih Farah signed on behalf of the Institute, assisted by the Registrar, Dr. Maina Tarfa.

The Institute today played host to officer cadets from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna.
The newly appointed Divisional Officer, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Sabon-gari Division, Superintendent of Corps, Ishaq Soho, has paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, pledging to assist the Institute surmount its security challenges.
