NITT has signed an MoU with Soft Alliance Enterprise Solutions Limited, Lagos, on the implementation of traffic management solutions and associated consultancy services, which include; transport databank, real-time tracking and monitoring of vehicles and traffic violations and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology, among others.
Speaking at the signing ceremony which took place at NITT’s Abuja Liaison office, DG/CE, Dr. Bayero Salih Farah, stressed the need for NITT and indeed Nigeria to key-into Smart Transportation Systems.
Also in attendance were the Registrar, Dr Maina W. Tarfa, Director, Training Dr Danjuma Ismaila and the Head Legal Services, Barr. Davis Job.
