Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following courses for the 2023/2024 session

National Innovation Diploma (NID) Courses In: Duration

  1. Shipping Management 2 Years
  2. Welding & Fabrication Engineering Technology 2 Years
  3. Automotive Mechatronics Engineering Technology 2 Years
  4. Electrical & Electronics Engineering Technology 2 Years

National Diploma (ND) Courses In: Duration

  1. Transport & Logistics Management 2 Years
  2. Shipping Engineering 2 Years
  3. Transport Safety Technology 2 Years
  4. Auto Body Technology 2 Years

Higher National Diploma (HND) Courses In: Duration

  1. Transport Technology 2 Years
  2. Project Management 2 Years

National Vocational Certificate (NVC) Courses In:

  1. Automotive Mechatronics
  2. Electrical Installations & Repair Work
  3. Computer Studies
  4. Welding & Fabrication
  5. Motor Vehicle Mechanics
  6. Refrigeration & Air Condition
  7. Plumbing & Pipefitting
  8. Agric. Mechanization

NOTE: Duration For NVC Courses: 1 – 3 Years Depending On Status Of Qualification

Entry Requirements

  1. Interested applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credits at WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB in not more than two (2) sittings, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for Engineering courses on the one hand and English Language, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects for Management courses on the other hand.
  2. Applicants should have written and passed the 2023/2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) scoring a minimum of 100 points (not applicable to NVC programmes).

  1. Candidates applying for HND programmes must possess either ND or NID Certificate in related fields with a minimum of Lower Credit from any approved government or private institutions with one year industrial training experience.
  2. Application forms are available in hard copy at the Institute for a non-refundable fee of N5, 000.00 only.
