The Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, on Monday, 21st August, 2023, held its second matriculation ceremony for students admitted into Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma (ND), National Innovation Diploma (NID) and National Vocational Certificate (NVC) for the 2022/2023 Academic Session.
Declaring the event open, the Director General/Chief Executive of NITT, Dr Bayero Salih Farah, said: “The Matriculation Excercise is important to us, because it gives the Management a unique opportunity to formally admit deserving and qualified candidates for study.” Dr Farah further noted that “this is the second set of students that we have admitted into the programmes since receiving accreditation from NBTE.”
The DG/CE further urged the matriculating students to take advantage of the unique learning environment that NITT offers, and also imbibe the ethics of hard-work, discipline, humility, perseverance and diligence.
The highlight of the event was the oath-taking by the matriculating students. A total number of 72 students were matriculated.
